Le nombre des autorisations délivrées pour le séjour de tous les étrangers serait limité par des plafonds et des contingents annuels. Les employeurs devraient accorder la préférence aux travailleurs suisses. Les traités internationaux contraires à l’initiative devraient être renégociés; ce serait donc aussi le cas de l’Accord sur la libre circulation des personnes. ### Résultats Le projet a été accepté par le peuple et les cantons.
