De plus en plus de gens font leurs courses le dimanche dans les commerces des gares et des aéroports. Or d’après la loi sur le travail, les commerçants doivent vendre des biens et des services dont les voyageurs ont besoin pour être autorisés à employer du personnel ce jour-là. Pour le Conseil fédéral et le Parlement, cette disposition est trop restrictive. Elle n’est plus conforme non plus aux habitudes d’une large partie de la population. La loi doit donc être révisée sur ce point. Désormais tous les commerces situés dans les centres de transports publics, c’est-à-dire dans les gares d’une certaine importance et dans les aéroports, seront autorisés à employer du personnel le dimanche. Ce droit leur sera accordé quelles que soient leur surface de vente et les marchandises qu’ils vendent. Les syndicats ont lancé un référendum contre le projet. Ils craignent que la loi sur le travail ne soit dévalorisée et qu’à terme le dimanche ne devienne un jour de travail comme les autres. ### Résultats Le projet a été accepté.
