# Part des terres arables ouvertes dans la surface agricole utile

## Description

En 2019, la majorité des terres mises en valeur par les exploitations agricoles était constituée de prairies naturelles et pâturages (605’700 ha, soit 58% de la surface agricole utile). Les terres arables occupaient 398’800 ha (38%). Enfin, parmi les autres terres cultivées (38’200 ha, 4%), la vigne occupait 13’400 hectares et les cultures fruitières s’étendaient sur 7’000 hectares.

Les différentes cultures ont connu des évolutions diverses en 2019. Stables ces dernières années, les surfaces de blé panifiable (73’600 ha) ont baissé 2,8%. Celles des betteraves sucrières se sont encore réduites de 1’000 ha pour atteindre 17’600 ha en 2019. Après plusieurs années d’expansion, les surfaces dédiées aux légumes ont fléchi (11’900 ha, -2,1%).

Par contre, la culture du tournesol était en progression en 2019 (5’900 ha, +9,6%). L’avoine (1’700 ha, +5,2%) et l’épeautre (5’700 ha, +6%) ont été particulièrement appréciés. Certaines cultures de niche telles que le millet, le sorgho, le chanvre et les lentilles ont gagné du terrain.

In the embed URL, `dm` sets what is shown: `e` the map with its title bar (default), `p` also the values of an object clicked on the map, `m` only the map with a button that opens it in the atlas. `ig=1` (default) lets the map react to scrolling and dragging only after a click into it, `ig=0` right away. The size can be changed in `style`.
