## Description

### Il progetto

L’iniziativa è volta a interdire la costruzione di minareti in Svizzera. La controversia sui minareti in Svizzera oggetto di una polemica legale e politica nello stato elvetico durante gli anni 2000.

Il referendum ha avuto origine da un’azione che risale al 1° maggio 2007, quando un gruppo di politici di centro-destra, prevalentemente appartenenti all’Unione Democratica di Centro e all’Unione Democratica Federale, riuniti nel cosiddetto comitato di Egerkinger, hanno lanciato un’iniziativa popolare federale per richiedere un bando costituzionale sui minareti. Il governo elvetico aveva consigliato il rigetto dell’emendamento proposto in quanto incompatibile con i principi fondamentali della costituzione.

Alla data del voto nel 2009 esistevano quattro minareti in Svizzera accanto alle moschee di Zurigo, Ginevra, Winterthur e Wangen bei Olten, che non sono stati interessati dal bando.

### Risultati

L’iniziativa è stato accettato dal popolo e dai Cantoni.

Partecipazione: 53.4%
Voti favorevoli: 57.5%

In the embed URL, `dm` sets what is shown: `e` the map with its title bar (default), `p` also the values of an object clicked on the map, `m` only the map with a button that opens it in the atlas. `ig=1` (default) lets the map react to scrolling and dragging only after a click into it, `ig=0` right away. The size can be changed in `style`.
