L’abitudine di fare acquisti la domenica nei negozi delle stazioni ferroviarie e degli aeroporti prende sempre più piede. Secondo la legge sul lavoro, questi negozi sono autorizzati a impiegare personale la domenica solo se vendono beni e servizi necessari per i viaggiatori. Il Consiglio federale e il Parlamento reputano che questa disposizione sia troppo restrittiva e che non tenga più conto delle abitudini di un’ampia parte della popolazione. La legge sul lavoro deve quindi essere riveduta su questo punto. Tutti i negozi situati nei centri di trasporti pubblici, vale a dire nelle stazioni di una certa importanza e negli aeroporti, saranno autorizzati a impiegare personale la domenica. Questo diritto sarà loro accordato indipendentemente dalla loro superficie di vendita e dalle merci vendute. I sindacati hanno lanciato il referendum contro il progetto. Temono che la legge sul lavoro venga svilita e che a lungo termine la domenica diventi un giorno lavorativo come gli altri. ### Risultati Il progetto è stato accettato.
