## Description

*Economia svizzera*
Da sempre l’economia nazionale svizzera ha forti relazioni internazionali: le importazioni e le esportazioni pro capite nonché il tasso di importazioni ed esportazioni (quote percentuali del valore sul prodotto interno lordo) sono tra i più alti del mondo. Soprattutto le esportazioni rappresentano un importante pilastro congiunturale per un Paese piccolo come la Svizzera. I partner principali degli scambi transfrontalieri di merci sono i Paesi industrializzati: da essi proviene l’76,3 per cento delle importazioni e a essi è destinato il 59,9 per cento delle esportazioni (stato 2014). L’UE svolge un ruolo particolarmente importante: sono infatti legati a essa il 66,1 per cento delle importazioni e il 45,0 per cento delle esportazioni. Il principale partner commerciale della Svizzera è la Germania, seguita da Stati Uniti, Italia E Francia.

*Proporzioni*
Nel 2013 in Svizzera si contavano 563000 imprese di mercato. Di queste oltre 430 000 operano nei servizi (settore 3) mentre l’industria (settore 2) comprende più di 90 000 aziende e il settore primario (settore 1) circa 56 000. Più del 99 per cento delle imprese sono piccole e medie imprese (PMI), e cioè imprese con meno di 250 addetti (in equivalenti a tempo pieno); l’92 per cento circa sono microimprese, e cioè imprese con meno di 10 addetti. La grandezza media delle imprese è di 8 addetti.

L’indicazione del settore specifica in quale ambito l’impresa svolge la sua attività principale, ma non può considerarsi univoca.
