Scientifica is Switzerland’s largest science festival. For one week, researchers open their doors and give the public an insight into their research and work. The Atlas of Switzerland is also taking part with a workshop. First, there will be a short presentation introducing the Atlas and its wide range of possibilities. Participants will then have the opportunity to explore the Atlas themselves through an interactive quiz, with the chance to win one of the prizes! The workshop is aimed at the whole family and will be held in German and English on the following dates and at the following locations:

In addition to the event for the general public, the Atlas of Switzerland will also be represented at EuroCarto in Brno (CZ). The conference will take place from 8 to 11 September 2026 and brings together the cartography community. The Atlas of Switzerland team will be contributing several presentations:
For a particularly technical audience, the Atlas of Switzerland team will also be participating in the Open Visualization Collaborator Summit, where they will give a presentation on the technical development of the Atlas. The presentation by Alexander Müdespacher will take place on Wednesday, 9 September 2026, at 15:30.
