Atlas of Switzerland Web – Version 0.12.0

New Features

• New theme comparison: Two themes (or two variants of the same theme) are displayed side by side. The map views can be linked, as can the pointer and the object selection. The divider can be moved, and basemap, transparency and legends can be set for each side.
• Object information and search in the comparison: Objects can be clicked on both sides. The object search covers both maps, and results are highlighted on the correct side.
• Share comparisons: The link contains both themes and optionally the map extent, layout, synchronization and basemap state.
• Guided tours: A new step-by-step introduction explains the functions of the theme comparison. More tours will follow.

Improved Features

• Labels with an offset are positioned in the maps as in the previous Atlas (AdS 4).

Instructions for Use

Open the “Tools” tab in the detail view of a thematic map and select “Compare Themes”. The comparison is available on larger screens.
