Mean water permeability of the soil

Water permeability was determined in the laboratory using saturated bore-cylinder test samples. Relationships were noted between rainfall, permeability and morphological features from observations taken in the field. Calculations were based on taking the values associated with the least permeable soil horizon in the uppermost 50 cm.
